Minority GOP Told Not To Give Up - Flint Journal
Republicans - See Your Future... Be Your Future!!!

<snip>

GRAND BLANC TWP. - For Flint Township resident Jeanne Kidle and at least 250 others, Thursday night's Republican candidates' night was validation. "There really are other Republicans in the county," said Kidle, 50, who remembers feeling "culture shock" four years ago when she moved to the area from more conservative Livingston County.

About 250 people attended the nearly three-hour event featuring some of the biggest names in statewide GOP politics. It was the first time all three national committee members from Michigan, including party Chairwoman Betsy DeVos, gathered in Genesee County. Kidle hoped the event would inspire Republicans to "get more organized and become a force to be reckoned with."

And...

Other featured speakers included Gary Glenn, president of the American Family Association of Michigan who promoted the constitutional amendment to define marriage; state Sen. Tom George, who represents Kalamazoo but is a Flint native; national committeewoman Holly Hughes of Montague; and local candidates.

Booths lined the hallway and banquet room to allow local residents to find out more about the people running for all levels of office. "This is something we should do more of," said Aaron Wiles, 38, of Burton, an electrical engineer.

1. aw shucks. you know who they remind me of?
Those people who move into urban entertainment districts and then complain about the noise.

Well, with a little election tampering, bribery, malicious mendacious advertising, stacking the local judiciary and outright skullduggery, the republican minority should be able to secure the reins of power.

This is America - happens every election these days.
