Coalition writes Bush in support of roadless rule
<snip>The Bush administration wants to replace a Clinton-era rule that rendered roadless areas off-limits to logging, road building and other development.

In its sted, Bush would allow governors to petition the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture to establish or adjust the management of roadless areas on national forests in their own state.

Owners of the 117 Montana companies that wrote the president Tuesday beg to differ.

"We can't go backwards," said Sky Sterry, owner of Wookey Backpacks in Bozeman. "Once an area is logged, it is no longer wilderness. Once you've got roads in there, it's a different ecosystem entirely. We can't be backwards; we have to protect these areas."</snip>

1. This is only one of many reasons * has been graded "F" by LCV.
The League of Conservation Voters has rated * lower than any President. This is just an example.

Four more years of this, and the country won't have any old trees, and it won't have any trees at all that aren't owned by logging companies or the ultra-wealthy.

This makes me s-i-c-k! And angry. We need to get this guy out. He is a walking for-profit corporation, and that is all. He is not looking after the country or its citizens. He is not acting as a steward for the protection of our natural resources. He is merely acting as a conduit for his corporate friends to suck the nation of its wealth and resources.

2. Sadly, unless this coalition coughed up $200,000
squatter could care less. We will have no national parks left if asswipe stays in power.
