Goss - Hill Democrats Not Sold

Intelligence committee Democrats not yet sold on Goss

CAPITOL HILL (AP) - Some Democratic members of the Senate
Intelligence Committee say they're still not sold yet on the White
House's pick to run the C-I-A.
They got to question former House Intelligence Chairman Porter
Goss yesterday for about four and a half hours. And during that
time the Democrats focused on the Republican's politically charged
comments he has made recently.
Democrats say they don't know if as C-I-A chief Goss will be
non-partisan as he's promised or if he'll continue to make "highly
charged" comments on behalf of the Bush administration.
Congressional aides say because Republicans control the Senate,
they expect Goss to win confirmation as soon as this month.

2. I hope the Democrats reject his partisan hack as CIA Director
unfortunately, the Daschle leadership for the last 4 years has been one of appeasement.

3. This confirmation hearing reminds of John Ashcroft's
Goss is going to do and say anything in order to get the nomination and then will do exactly as he please once he takes over.

I think I might by stock in office shredders. I hear there's going to be a big run on them, after he takes office.
