Iran given deadline on nuclear program
By Anton La Guardia
London
September 10, 2004

"Britain has given Iran two months to come clean on its nuclear program and halt work on uranium enrichment, or face a demand for United Nations sanctions."

This is in the context of the G-8 meeting in Geneva on Iran's nuclear program.

"Top G-8 officials gather in Geneva to discuss nuclear tensions with Iran

By ALEXANDER G. HIGGINS

GENEVA (AP) - With pressure building to curb Iran's nuclear program, top disarmament officials from major countries gathered

Thursday for two days of meetings that the United States says will focus on Tehran in the campaign to stop the spread of atomic weapons."

Representing the US is Undersecretary of State for Arms Control and
International Security John Bolton, who stopped by Isreal on his way to Geneva. I wonder why? Story is here.

5. Can I have some BBQ sauce on my Crow?
I truly thought Iran would "cave in". I truly believed that someone in the bush* administration would understand the importance of developing a relationship with Iran because of the Shia population in Iraq.

I gave the bush* fuckwads way too much credit. PNAC has a vice grip on this country and won't let go. Now the bush* fuckwads are using a former PNAC director; John Bolton, to pressure the IAEA and the UN (which Bolton HATES!!) for sanctions against Iran. Sanctions which already exist, but expire in 2005.

:dunce:
