'Six killed' in UK military crash

A British military helicopter has crashed in the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Defence has said. The Czech Defence Ministry in Prague is reported as saying that six British soldiers died in the crash near Brno.

A Czech defence spokesman said the soldiers were taking part in a Czech-British joint military exercise when the incident happened.

The Ministry of Defence said it could not confirm any fatalities at present. The crash occurred at about noon BST.
