THOUSANDS FLEE FIGHTING (Liberia)
Thousands of Liberians are fleeing fresh fighting around the Liberian capital Monvroia.

Ross Mountain, the UN special humanitarian coordinator in Liberia, said up to 10,000 people were on the move.

"Some 8,000 to 10,000 people are on the move going towards Harbel. We believe it could be skirmishes between government forces and MODEL (Liberia's second rebel group)," Mountain told the AFP news agency.

1. HEY GOOD JOB AMERICA - PEACE LASTED EXACTLY 12 MINUTES
Check out the two consecutive threads. One stating the US troops are back on their ships at 11:48 today and the next was this story, posted at noon.

(i know, this does not mean the peace actually lasted 12 minutes, but it does mean it lasted less than half a day)

NICE WORK BOYS!

WHY IN THE FUCK DID WE GO IN THERE AT ALL IF WE WERE GOING TO STAY SIX DAYS, THEN LEAVE WITH NOTHING CHANGED?

WILL SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY WE WERE THERE? I NEED TO KNOW!

2. SO Bush*
can tell us how compassionate he is. We sent troops while we were cleaning up two countries we bombed to smithereens. People will forget that we only sent a few troops.
