Bush has brain bounce
POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (Reuters) - President Bush offered an unexpected reason on Monday for cracking down on frivolous medical lawsuits: "Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country."

3. Why would this be picked up as "news"?
Not sure whether Reuters has a habit of leaning one way or the other, but why would this be worth putting out as so-called news?

Is it to mock him, or to "remind" us that he's a good ole boy who has an endearing way of mangling the English language?

Either way, this is Reuters, and it's just not news, so naturally I'm suspicious.

12. Bear with me a minute
I do think its news when a politician in such a powerful position, constantly sticks his foot in his mouth. Its damned inept! Of course they made excuses for him, saying he commonly suffers from verbal/grammatical lapses. Its a sign that he is not a confident speaker, a feeling I always get watching him. And that is an issue at least for me.

18. If the guy can't string 3 coherent sentences together, do you
really think he's up to the task of being POTUS? I think this administration's record over the past 3.75 years underscores this point. He is a walking disaster in speech, thought, and action.

The announcer's reaction looks like it's straight out of the Daily Show. The rest of the media should be so honest. Thanks for the link.

13. Norman Mailer questions Bush's brain in "Why are we at War?"
His quote was:

"Bill Clinton made a point of surrounding himself with people who might be 90 percent as intelligent as himself but never his equal, never more intelligent. Clinton, therefore, was always the brightest guy in his circle. Whereas Bush was smart enough to know that he couldn't possibly do the same or the country would be run by morons."

23. Great article. REALLY good.
By the way, you've got one hour to edit your post so the title of the actual article is your subject line, as well. LBN rules.

You've still got a few minutes.
