Americans abroad have 'early election day'
http://www.aftenposten.no/english/local/article857097.ece

The build-up for the 2004 presidential elections in the USA is even more hurried for citizens abroad. Many Americans living outside of the USA are unaware of how to vote, or not even be sure they can. There are 23,000 Americans living in Norway that have never voted before.

Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright urged Americans in Oslo to vote - and to vote Democrat.

2. Raises a good question
How do US citizens register and vote from afar? Any expatriates out there that can help?

3. Voting Abroad
Contact your County Election officals where you are registered in the United States. They should have a web-site. We live in New Zealand and will send our votes by mail to our County in Washington State. Just remember to do this early, and vote Democratic! It will be nice to come back to a non-Facist country when Bush is out of office! If Bush wins we stay in New Zealand!

4. Thanks
I hope you can come back soon, but New Zealand sounds awfully nice right now!

5. If you want *ush to lose...
I suggest everyone do what my husband and I and countless others are doing-voting by absentee ballot. Thats the only way to get a paper trail!

Also, speaking of New Zealand. If *ush wins we are moving to British Columbia. We have family there. We're done.
