13 US soldiers wounded in Iraq attacks

BAGHDAD - Twelve US soldiers were wounded in multiple grenade attacks in the streets of central Baghdad on Friday, the US military said.

Five soldiers were wounded at around 10:00 am (0600 GMT) when insurgents lobbed eight hand grenades at their patrol.

Another two hand-grenade attacks an hour later wounded five more soldiers, and a third attack 45 minutes after that left two more soldiers injured.

As the soldiers finished their patrol at around 1:00 pm, another two hand grenades were thrown, but no soldiers were wounded.

Eight people were arrested in connection with the attacks, the military said, without specifying the exact location of the incident.

Our media has been PATHETIC in reporting the Iraq war from DAY ONE.

It is PATHETIC that we Americans have to go to the MOVIE THEATER to see real footage of the Iraq war (f 9/11).

It is PATHETIC that over 58 soldiers have died this month and are barely mentioned at ALL in any news broadcasts.

Because we incessantly operate with ulterior motives.... and because they know that..... maybe we could pipe Fox Snooze over there... then they will all lie down and let us sell off the infrastructure of THEIR country to foreign interests.

I am sure they won't mind the bread lines. What is unemployment in Saudia Arabia..... 25-30 percent??? Too bad people can see the handwriting on the wall.... could be a reason for bombing some of those walls.....

I had to find that story in the photo gallery at yahoo. 1o Iraqis were injured but the target had been a US Convoy. One soldier was wounded.
