Dad supports president, Cheney's daughter says (Liz, not Mary)

Vice President Dick Cheney supports President Bush, but that doesn't mean they have to agree on everything, daughter Liz Cheney said Thursday.

Mary Cheney serves in a high-profile post as operations director for her father. Liz Cheney said her sister's work is a more frequent topic of discussion than her personal relationships.

"I have to say that as a family, it's not something we spend any time at all focusing on," she said. "We're all very focused on trying to re-elect the president and my dad.

"My sister Mary is out there every day working hard for their re-election. When we get together we don't talk about that issue," Liz Cheney said. "We talk about where this country needs to go and what this election means for my kids, so that's what we're all focused on."
