Utah man buys Democrat domain names to link to Bush Web site

RUTLAND, Vt. -- Following news reports that vermontdemocrats.com was linked to the re-election Web site of President Bush, a Republican, the owner of the site changed the format on Thursday to include a link to the Kerry-Edwards campaign.

Jed Merrill, 28, of Park City, Utah, has registered the Web
addresses of vermontdemocrats. com, mainedemocrats.com, massachusettsdemocrats.com and rhodeislanddemocrats.com, and had linked them to the GOP site.

But on Thursday he changed the Web sites to list links to both the Kerry-Edwards and the Bush-Cheney campaigns because of feedback he had received, he said.

"I am a Bush supporter," he said Thursday. "But my long-term goal is to make information about both candidates more accessible."

as they do with john kerry which is why the republicans even took kerry edwards website address combinations up to prevent the campaign from being able to use them.
