World Bank halts work in Iraq, IMF moves injured

WASHINGTON, Aug 20 (Reuters) - The World Bank has suspended its work in Iraq because of concerns about security after Tuesday's bombing at United Nations offices in Baghdad, a World Bank spokesman said on Wednesday.

The International Monetary Fund said it is sending some of its staff to other countries for medical attention, but there had been no policy decision to pull out of the country.
