Iraq poses big potential threat to regional security: Turkish FM
Almost 100 Iraqis are killed every day!

http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2004-08/03/content_1695255.htm

ANKARA, Aug. 2 (Xinhuanet) -- Turkish Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said Monday that Iraq is a big potential threat in the region, Anatolia News Agency reported.

Gul made the statement in the Governor's Office in Kayseri province after a Turkish hostage was shot dead in Iraq. "Iraq is problematic. We unfortunately lost one of our citizens today. We have been exerting intense efforts to rescue Turkish hostages," he said.

"Nobody can predict what is going to happen in Iraq. As a neighboring country, Turkey has so far attributed great importance to rapid settlement of stability and peace in Iraq."

"However, as you see today, there is a serious security problem there. Almost 100 Iraqis die each day," he added.

2. Serious problem
Could that have anything to do with the US/UK Occupation, non-Iraqis taking jobs from Iraqis and US Multi-Corps taking over the Iraq economy. Oh, yeah forgot.... the oil.

3. 36,500 unnecessary deaths a year in Iraq -- Way to go Bush Boy!
"However, as you see today, there is a serious security problem there. Almost 100 Iraqis die each day," he added.

I doubt seriously this estimate includes the children who unnecessarily still die from preventable water born diseases caused by improper sewage treatment and lack of electricity; the incredible increases in cancer, etc. etc.

We, the American empire, are going to be paying for this mess-up for a long, long time!
