During the first or second year of the Bush market crash, I read an article that said while average investors were losing 25% or more, billionaires saw a gain of 2%. Given this, Wall Street's support for Repugs obviously has to do with their support for the well-heeled investor (from whom Wall Street earns bigger bucks).
