I wonder HOW they intend to steal this election? They are going to have to do better than they did in 2000 since so many more people will be voting Democrat

35. Interviewer: "Do you want to stay on the ticket, Mr. Cheney?"
Cheney: "Why, yes. Of course. Why wouldn't I be?"\

Interviewer: "Well, your ratings are really down. Political pundits say you are hurting the Repub ticket".

Cheney: "Oh, really? Who cares about them? They don't know Dick.

Interviewer: "But you were at a Yankees game recently. They showed your face on the big screen at half time. A lot of people started booing you".

Cheney: "That's not true. They were upset because of the Cubs. They are a worthless team".

Interviewer: "Look, I'm gonna get right down to it. You're in bad health. Your heart could give out at any time. You've had - what, 4 triple bypass surgeries now? Don't you still have a hole in your aorta that the doctors were not able to fix?

Cheney: (stops for a minute, holds his hand by his heart)

And you know how slavishly devoted the Pukes are to authoritarianism, so it's a done deal now that the top man has weighed in. Lil George can only acquiesce.

22. You Bet! If he goes the "hangman's noose" awaits...Prosecutions!
No way they will take a chance that Cheney won't be under Executive Privilege. They don't want their secrets coming out and even a "pardon" for Cheney wouldn't work because the secrets are so dark.

23. Is Dick getting bigger?
Is it me, or does it seem that Cheney's putting on some weight lately?

I think this tough talk is all a ploy, and he'll drop out at the last minute (health reasons, natch), leaving Giuliani free to be named vp on Sept 11 at the convention.

26. As much as I'd like to believe it to be true...
...I still have a sinking feeling that the Koronary Kid's gonna bow out soon "for health reasons." Bush has to win and he won't have a chance unless he pulls a Hail Mary, like dumping KrashKart and replacing him with a popular repug (and even then, winning will still be a long shot)...

27. He is the power behind the throne
Why on earth would he drop out? Short of his rotted, decrepit heart finally giving up on pumping any more blood through his stinking carcass, he'll be on the ticket no matter what. French indictments for corruption? They'll be blown off since they're from a freedom, er, French court!

31. This is great news! Bu$h is officially toast! Put that old buzzard next
to John Edwards in a debate and that's all we'll need. Not to mention that Edwards would tear him to pieces on policy issues, but that is actually secondary compared to the visual impact a televised debate would have on the average voter.

43. Don't believe it.
This smacks to me of Bush saying how much he supports Sec. O'Neill (who quit/was fired), Chairman of the SEC Pitt (who quit/was fired), etc.

They could tell me it was sunny outside and I'd go and check to make sure.

When they see how much people respond to Edwards, Cheney is out for someone touchier and feelier, I think.
