Marcos blocks screening of film

MANILA — A Philippine court on Thursday issued a 20-day ban on the screening of an award-winning documentary here about the life of former first lady Imelda Marcos.


The temporary restraining order effectively cancelled a press preview of the film "Imelda" in a theater here Thursday night.

1. This is an excellent film

I highly recommend it.

In addition to showing Imelda for the whack job that she is, it does show her human side. Not to say that this film is in anywya apologetic to the Marcos family. It just does a terrifc job of helping you to understand what makes Imelda tick.

2. Thank ingenuity for DVDs

A packed movie theater will be where I will see it, but I am sure to buy and pass around few copies to people who are too brainwashed (they say uninterested), poor or just plain cheap to see it otherwise.

3. I have no proof or have ever read any reports to this but I feel in my

bones that she has personally executed some of her 'terrorists' as I also believe Ferdi did also.

Not to think the PI and the world is rid of them. Their son, Ferdinand Jr, has been placed to Governor of Ilocos Norte. (Sort of the same as we're living with our own Junior in America.
