Norwegian humanitarian organizations are targets for foreign intelligence according to an assessment by the Norwegian Police Security Service (PST).

The PST's annual threat report claims that Norwegian interests are a major target for foreign spies and charitable groups are no exception, newspaper Klassekampen reports.The report was originally published at the beginning of the year but a declassified version has just been released.

Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) found this news startling.
