1. Is BBV a problem in PA?
PA favors Kerry, because those undecideds are more likely to vote for Kerry than Bush, assuming the votes are counted correctly.

I still don't understand how in the world Bush is tied with Kerry in NH.

6. Maybe it's time
to think about dividing the USA into two separate countries.

With the country so evenly divided it may be time to discuss the orderly breakup, instead of waiting for the impending explosion.

I for one can't take much more and am considering exercising my 2nd amendment rights.

9. Lincoln, it could be argued,
needlessly caused the death of tens of thousands of Iraqis in the 21st Century.

Had he allowed the Confederacy to coexist with the U.S., neither country would likely have ever achieved "superpower" status and thus would not have bee able to mount reckless imperial adventures abroad.

On the down side, we would have been fortunate to have avoided another all-out shooting war between the South and North in the meantime.

There might have even been a third or fourth country created out West. A lot of those states bear little resemblance to the ones back East.

It sure would have kept us confined to this continent, though, which is something George Washington strongly advocated in his Farewell Address.

11. That's the issue.
There are. That said I don't think PA will support the * "pretzeldent". We didn't last time around and things are much worse now.

12. Q: "Senator, you have the vote of every thinking person!"
Adlai Stevenson: "That's not enough, madam, we need a majority!"

Adlai lost, so there's a lesson: we really don't want to call voters stupid. Many people are ill-informed, busy trying to make ends meet, and frightened. Bush gets votes because of that. It's our job to reach out to those folks and try to bring them around to our side.
