Herb Brooks (Miracle on Ice) Is Dead

Hockey coach Herb Brooks died in a car accident this afternoon.

This is a shattering loss. It was a privilege to watch his Penguins team play a few years back.

We will miss you.

3. I don't know about Herb Brooks's politics, but...

...I read in Sunday's NYT that hockey is Democrats 4th most favorite sport after football, baseball and basketball (GOP'ers put golf and nascar in 4th and 5th), and MN is a great liberal state, and Herb Brooks was dignified man and a very good coach...
