Major Layoffs At Wilson Greatbatch
http://www.wgrz.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=21154

Channel 2 News has learned that Wilson Greatbatch is laying off 107 people, 100 of them from Western New York.

The layoffs equate to 12% of the local workforce, which is estimated at 830 people.

According to sources, the layoffs are the direct result of a major client greatly reducing its order last month.

This "inventory reduction" might explain the report that said that inventories were not rising in May. Hmmmm....
