Some see a connection between the January disappearance and killing of Monica Marina Rivera-Veldizen, 26, and a report Friday that Hayde Beatriz Vasquez, 22, has been missing for a week.
Rivera-Veldizen, of Peru, worked as a nanny west of Boca Raton. Vasquez, of Guatemala, worked as a nanny in Coral Springs.
"There's a good chance that those are related. They're too similar," said Connie Golden, who on Saturday was shopping at the Publix on Palmetto Park Road, where Rivera-Veldizen was last seen alive on Jan. 2.
