Canada says unaware of any specific terror threat (Reuters)
http://famulus.msnbc.com/famulusgen/reuters05-26-171634.asp?t=renew&vts=52620042104

WINNIPEG, May 26 — Although two Canadians are among seven suspects the United States has identified as linked with al Qaeda, Prime Minister Paul Martin said Wednesday authorities do not know of any specific terrorist threats against Canada.
''Canadians I think can feel very confident that the matter is in hand and there is no threat leveled against Canada,'' Martin told reporters on board his campaign plane during a flight to Winnipeg.
Martin and other government officials said neither of the Canadians named by the United States in their latest alert have been in Canada for some time. Both were already on an international watchlist before U.S. authorities named them Wednesday.

3. Goodness, they didn't tell Canada about the hijack "plot"?
>>Amer El-Maati, a pilot, who is suspected of wanting to hijack a plane in Canada and fly it into the United States.<

http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/04148/322616.stm

You'd think that might be important, George!

5. "who is SUSPECTED of wanting to hijack a plane"
.
.
.

well of COURSE any terrorist would love to hijack a plane - -

and I see they are using their play on words again

originally the statement was:

"Mr. Mueller described Mr. El-Maati as “an al-Qaeda member and a licensed pilot” and said that he is believed to have discussed hijacking a plane in Canada and flying it into a building in the United States."

and

hmmmm

I remember the US circulating pictures of "alleged" terrorists from Canada before

WRONG PICTURES!!

I am Sooooooooo impressed with their "intelligence"

Sorry guys,

but if the US does get attacked

They asked for it

Over 10,000 dead Iraqi civilians would probably agree

As well as their family and friends . .

(sigh)
