excerpt:

But Vice President Dick Cheney did help Rep. Richard Burr, R- 5th, raise more than $200,000 for his U.S. Senate campaign last night - and took a few swipes at Democrat John Kerry while he was at it.

"The Senate is so evenly balanced that if we'd had one less (Republican) senator a year ago, we wouldn't have the economic recovery we have today," Cheney said after recounting his tie-breaking votes on tax-cut bills.

<snip>

After Bush's statement that the tobacco program doesn't need to change, "this latest statement on my livelihood and my community's livelihood ... has truly changed my opinion of President Bush, and I do not support him any longer and I will not support him any longer unless there is a change," she said.

<snip>

"I've had calls saying, 'I can't vote for Kerry. But I'll stay home. I'll go fishing,'" Parrish said.

<snip>

"Just over a year ago, Saddam Hussein controlled the lives ... of 25 million people. Tonight he's in jail. He will never again brutalize the Iraqi people, never again support dangerous terrorists or pursue weapons of mass destruction. He will never again threaten the United States," Cheney said.

4. Yep. That's the one.

8. Ooooh, just you wait!
The stock market registered an impressive gain today. Soon it'll be up over 10,000. Then all you bleeding heart liberals will be eating crow, I'll bet.

Boudelang mode off
