I wonder if Powell cleared this with Dumb ya? I also recall something about Bremer basically saying the same thing.
If this is not the biggest flipflop of all flipflops, I don't know what is. So are we saying that we would allow a militant Islamic religious state more brutal than even Saddam to ask us to leave and we would just leave?
Sounds a bit like "cuttin' and runnin'". If this happens, have the turrist won? I can't believe for the life of me that Powell is floating this little trial balloon all on his own.
What are they setting us up for?
