Pakistan Army Believes NATO Attack Planned: Reports
Source: REUTERS

ISLAMABAD | Thu Dec 8, 2011 11:25pm EST

(Reuters) - A senior Pakistani military officer said a NATO air strike that killed 24 Pakistani troops on the border with Afghanistan last month was pre-planned, newspapers reported on Friday, in comments likely to fuel tensions with the United States.

Major General Ashfaq Nadeem, director general of military operations, also said Pakistan, a strategic U.S. ally, would deploy an air defence system along the border to prevent such attacks, the newspapers said.

The newspapers said he made the remarks to a Senate committee on defence on Thursday. Military officials were not immediately available to confirm he had made the comments.

The Daily Times said Nadeem described the attack as a plot while another newspaper quoted him as saying it was a "pre-planned conspiracy" against Pakistan.

1. What would motivate NATO to attack the Pakistani outpost?
I can't think of anything.

Maybe that the US is feeling frustrated that they are not doing enough to thwart the Taliban and other Militants, and the feeling that the ISI is working with the militants?
Maybe,just maybe? No?
Does nato always tell the truth?
Wiki leaks showed us that they don't.

Do you think the US is going to admit that they were flying over Iran for nefarious reason? Hello no, it would be a real embarrassment,so they have to deny it with a passion, and not ever admit to invading Iran's Airspace,or if they admit to having a drone shot down or accidentally flying over Iran, never admit that it is your drone, and tell people that what they see is not what they are seeing, but a figment of their imagination,or it is a manufactured drone.
We probably will not get the truth until the freedom of information act is due,as usual
Similar to all these perverts being charged with Sexual abuse of kids,Herman Cain being charged with sexual harassment, vociferously Deny,Deny Deny any and all charges and call everyone of your accusers liars, even when faced with the evidence, thats now the American way.
