Gunman charged after shooting during Occupy Houston rally
Source: Houston Chronicle

Twohig, who has no known association with the Occupy Houston movement, walked into the park about 5:15 p.m. Monday dressed in a black suit and carrying a .40-caliber rifle, authorities said.

He fired into the air before heading over to a nearby pedestrian bridge, firing into a pond and pointing the weapon at people in the park, police said.

Didn't see anything on this out here - sorry if it's a dupe or too old for LBN.

2. Wonder if he is a Veteran...
or just a troubled young adult.
Sad- hope he gets the help he needs.
Asking the police to shoot him sounds like
he saw an opportunity to take advantage of a public event
to commit suicide by the cops.

4. Lost his job, worried about money
Twohig’s neighbors said they were surprised by what happened, but that Twohig had been troubled lately.

"Josh was always sweet. He was always sweet to me," said his neighbor, Vastie, who only wanted to be identified by her first name.

Vastie said Twohig had recently lost his job and was depressed.

Neighbors said Twohig had lived in their apartment complex with his wife and 1-year-old baby for about six months, and before that, he moved to Houston from Virginia.

They said Twohig’s wife was recovering from surgery, and the couple had been worried about money.

5. Looks like an attempted suicide by police. 21 years old and giving up life and family. Tragic.
