Voter status of N.H. House speaker's son challenged
Source: Foster's Daily Democrat

DOVER — The New Hampshire Democratic Party has filed a right-to-know request with the Secretary of State's office regarding the voter registration status of Brendan O'Brien, son of House Speaker William O'Brien.

The action comes on the heels of a complaint about the same issue that was filed with the state Attorney General's office earlier this week by a resident of Mont Vernon.

Joyce Cardoza wrote to Attorney General Michael Delaney to express her concerns about the "maintenance and upkeep" of the town's voter checklist, and indicated based on recent news articles that Brendan was registered to vote in both New Hampshire and Maine between 2008 and 2010.

The Maine Sun Journal has reported Brendan voted in New Hampshire in 2008, voted in Maine in 2009, in 2010 ran for the District 73 seat representing Lewiston in the Maine House of Representatives but dropped out a month later, and voted in the New Hampshire 2010 general election.

3. LePage and the Maine Teabaggers/Heritage Foundation morans are on a voter fraud witch hunt in Maine
Edited on Fri Aug-05-11 12:39 PM by jpak
Looking for evidence of "voter fraud" to justify their recent voter suppression legislation...

...which will get them a People's Veto this November

The fact that a Flatlander Repiblicon ran for office in Maine while still registered in NH should have the baggers chasing their scaly little tails.

I hope the Portland TV stations pick this up....
