Eyewitness: 20-25 bodies at youth camp
Source: AP/Yahoo

OSLO, Norway (AP) — An eyewitness tells Norwegian broadcaster NRK that he saw 20 to 25 bodies at the youth camp where a gunman dressed in a police uniform opened fire.

Andre Scheie says he saw bodies on the shore of the Utoya island where the youth wing of the Labor Party was holding a summer camp for hundreds of youths.

Scheie said Friday: "There are very many dead by the shore ... there are about 20-25 dead." He also said he saw dead people in the water.

4. Because they have a NATO contingent in Afghanistan.
Also, there have been two convictions of Muslim law-breakers connected to the Zizi case in NYC.

11. Culprits and motives not yet known
But IF it was the Jihadi terror group mentioned in the NY Times piece, you must recall that threats have been made against Norway because newspapers reprinted the cartoons that religious fanatics wanted banned.

21. There is speculation in Norway (we have friends there, so
no link just speculation) that the killer is a Norwegian version of Timothy McVeigh. The cartoons that are provocative could also be a reason. Nobody knows just yet.

24. No death penalty there (which is good) yet he meted it out to a bunch of kids!
I can hardly imagine the feelings of some of my friends in Norway who have kids and are having to explain this to them today. I'm angry and they must be overwhelmed, but I can't get in touch yet.

27. They have pictures of him at both sites on street
surveillance cameras, but the last I heard the police stated that it looked like a lot for one person to pull off. He may be more like J. Loughner than McVeigh. He may have had assistance, training, weapons, materiels, and money from outside sources. (as McVeigh did) I am heartsick at the murder of innocents and the destruction of everyone's peace of mind. The authorities will get to the bottom of this. Even if they do, we may still never know why.

My friend lives near the downtown blast site and she has been able to post on FB. If you haven't checked for your friends there It's worth a try.

29. No matter - Info is from the ISAF web site...
Regional Command - North... Contributing Nations - NATO Nations: Albania, Belgium, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Netherlands, Norway, U.S.- Non NATO Nations: Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Finland, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Mongolia, Montenegro, Sweden...
Amazing, isn't it? While most of the contingents are very small compared to the US, they have their flags planted there just as we do.

33. the false claim was made anonymously, then denied by the actual group
obviously the Christian Conservative group that is actually behind these massacres knew how gullible people are when it comes to believing anything awful about Muslims these days, and knew that would throw a bit of sand in the eyes the yellow press to distract everybody while they're carrying out other plans under the radar.

20. thats funny
i assumed it was militia types from start... but thats funny, because i had to listen to their rants that day, told them at the time it was American nighties.. kind of surprised with all this stirring of the right wing, that we haven't had another ok city.. the occasional busting of the huateree militia types is all we see.. they pretty much keep the stuff under wraps like that MLK day attempt in Washington state..
