Al-Qaida leader warns of 'worse to come' in eulogy to Bin Laden

The leader of al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) has vowed to fight on after the killing of Osama bin Laden saying "what is coming is greater and worse'' in a statement posted on the internet.

"You have to fight one generation after the other, until your life is ruined, your days are disturbed and you face disgrace. The fight between us and you was not led by Osama alone," said Nasser al-Wuhayshi, addressing al-Qaida's enemies.

"What is coming is greater and worse, and what you will be facing is more intense and harmful," said Wuhayshi in a eulogy to Bin Laden posted on the Islamist militant website As-Ansar.

Yemen-based AQAP is seen as one of al-Qaida's most aggressive regional wings. It has staged several foiled strikes on US and Saudi targets.

recruiting tool.

I don't see us wiping out all of Al Qaeeda that already exists, either, no matter what we found. Weakened, no doubt. Eliminated, no. And it takes only one or two to blow something up or contaminate a water supply or whatever.

And, since everyone knows we got the computer files, people will go into hiding, scrub missions and make new plans. Eventually, we will get hit for this. However, we had to get Bin Laden, IMO. And, apparently, we were about to be hit on 9/11 anyway.

I wouldn't be surprised if the administration had some evidence of that before the Seals swooped down on "Uncle Osama."

But, either of us could be wrong. We'll see, I guess.
