A new NBC poll indicates that an overwhelming majority of Americans agree with the Obama administration’s decision not to release the photos of Osama bin Laden’s corpse.

MSNBC reports:

By comparison, 24 percent said they strongly believe the photos should be released, and 5 percent more agreed not so strongly.

3. They must have forgotten to put their tinfoil helmets on
The Space Jews are controlling their brains unlike superior enlightened beings such as myself who can see through their deception.

4. We don't need to see that shit. Hell, al Qaeda and the Taliban have both admitted he's dead.
What the HELL is wrong with the wingnuts - are they just that into blood and mutilation photos?

5. If they saw the photos, they would say they were photoshopped.
There is really no satisfying the conspiracy nuts. Recent example: birthers. No matter what Obama puts out, it is "fake"

6. Yeah, what was it, "typewriters didn't have that font until 1964"?
As long as Obama stays black, he'll be wrong. That's really the problem they have with him.

8. These photos were bought and paid for with my tax dollars, and this
action was done in my name. I want to see the photos, as well as every photo withheld from Abu Ghraib.

I have not agreed with any military action by this country in my lifetime, and I was born in 1948.

Yep, I have paid for it, it's mine, and I want it.

9. They don't have to
be on the front page. Just put them out on various websites. People that are interested will find them. People that aren't interested will be able to avoid them. It doesn't have to be an in your face thing. My wife's younger brother died in WTC on 9/11. She wants to see the pictures to bring about closure.

10. Because most Americans really are decent people, though you wouldn't think it sometimes.
The Noise Machine of Mean dominates the airwaves to much that it's sometimes easy to forget that a lot of Americans really are fundamentally decent (as are most people in all countries, I might add).
