France Tells Its Citizens to Leave Iraq

PARIS (Reuters) - France is strongly advising its citizens to leave Iraq (news - web sites) and warning people not to travel there, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said Tuesday following a spate of kidnappings in the country.

"I draw your attention to the fact that, since the end of last week, we are strongly advising all French in Iraq to leave and all those who want to go there, to postpone their trip," the spokesman told a news briefing.
