--THOMAS PICKARD, FBI deputy director, 1999-2001; FBI acting director, 2001; vice president, corporate security, Bristol-Myers Squibb, 2002-present.

--COFER BLACK, director, CIA Counterterrorism Center, 1999-2002; counterterrorism coordinator, State Department, 2002-present.
