House vote to ease pesticide use near waters
– Thu Mar 31, 4:41 pm ET

WASHINGTON – The House has passed a bill that could make it easier to use pesticides near water.

The measure would bar the Environmental Protection Agency from requiring farmers or companies to comply with the Clean Water Act when using pesticides on or near water sources. The bill's supporters said pesticides are adequately regulated by other laws.

The bill passed 292 to 130 on Thursday. The 130 negative votes came from Democrats. Fifty-seven Democrats joined 235 Republicans in supporting the bill, which has yet to see Senate action.

9. We'd all better bust our asses in 2012 to get our government back
I don't believe this will pass the Senate, much less withstand a Presidential veto, but it's disturbingto see what kind of nonesense we'd be getting if by some horrible chance the Publicans got a bigger foothold in Washington.

10. We need to expand the use of fertilizer, too
the grass should be thick, green, and crabgrass-free all the way to the water's edge. And beyond.

What do Democrats have against a nice, Silent Spring!

11. The Wall Street Government.
The best government money can buy.
How long CAN the American people allow this? It is no longer a matter of WILL the American people.....it has come to the point of survival.
It is us against them.
They do not care. They have plenty of money (or think they do) to escape our crumbling country.
WE must survive, along with our progeny.
If we do not stop "them" immediately, it will be too late..
Wake up Americans, this one struggle we have to have and win....
