Rice Testimony Doesn't Sway Americans on Sept. 11, CBS Reports

Seventy-five percent of U.S. adults said the White House was ``hiding something'' related to the attacks, the same number as a week ago, CBS News said. Sixty percent said the Bush administration could have done more to prevent the attacks, CBS reported on its Web site CBSNEWS.com. The network interviewed 471 adults last night that it first polled on March 30 through April 1.

The survey also found support for the war in Iraq waning. Thirty-three percent of those interviewed said the fighting was ``worth the costs,'' down from 39 percent a week before, CBS News reported.
