Wis. Assembly Dems Climb Out Capitol Windows to Meet Constituents
Source: The Progressive

As Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and the state's Department of Administration continued to refuse to comply with a court order to allow the public back into the Capitol Building in Madison, Democratic lawmakers literally climbed out their windows to meet with constituents on the Capitol lawn today.

17. Yeah, but WHY do the Dem legislators have to come out through
the windows? Are they locked inside without free egress from the building? How is would that be legal, either?

The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire proved that workers (even legislators, one presumes) cannot be locked inside buildings without clear exits in case of fire.

So why did the Dems have to climb out through the windows instead of leaving through doors? And did they also have to climb IN through the windows? If not, then why not leave through the same doors they came in through?

3. Good for them.
I don't know how much farther they can go to make Walker look more of an imbecile, but they keep doing it.

5. Walker's showing his GOP credentials
Inside every repig is a deep, deep desire to be Mussolini. Not Hitler; he was "successful" (for a while). Mussolini was a ruthless dictator but a failure in every way. He didn't even make the trains run on time (that is a commonly-held myth)
