DAVOS-Minor explosion in Davos hotel, nobody hurt-police

Jan 27 (Reuters) - A minor explosion has occurred at a hotel in Davos on Thursday, close to where the World Economic Forum is taking place, but nobody was injured, a spokesperson for the cantonal police of the Swiss canton of Grisons said.

"I can confirm that there has been an explosion in a storage room in the basement of the hotel. Our staff is there now. There has been minor damage but nobody was injured," Thomas Hobi, a spokesman for the Grisons police said. (Reporting by Silke Koltrowitz and Emma Thomasson; editing by Michael Stott)
