'Unruly passenger,' mechanical problems delay flight to Denver for 13 hours
Source: Denver 9 News

Andrew Ferraro, a spokesperson with Continental Airlines, says Flight 59 from Houston to Denver originally left the gate at George Bush Intercontinental Airport around 6:50 p.m. Thursday. They did not get to their destination, however, until late Friday morning.

Ferrero says the airline regrets the situation, but called the cascading events a "perfect storm."

3. Yes, anyone who would fly into or out of an airport named after that moron
really shouldn't expect their day to go well.

Personally, I will not fly through Houston ever.

2. I thank you for posting.
Interesting and upsetting event for all involved (validating one of the many reasons I don't fly), but a commentor's response included this quote which really resonated with me: "Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky." Rabindranath Tagore. Wow. Very fitting on a morning when things seem pretty bleak for many reasons. Will remember that one!

Peace and blessings.

5. That sucks, but it doesn't seem like they left the people on board overnight, did they?
Barring that, I'm not sure why this is a new story - the airplane broke, and they had to fix it. Even without the drunk, wouldn't they have had to come back to repair the lights?
