Summer terror alert
http://www.wthr.com/Global/story.asp?S=1758734&nav=9TaiM131

The federal government issued a new terror warning Friday saying terrorists could target buses and rail lines in major U-S cities this summer.

The warning cites preliminary intelligence suggesting terrorists may use luggage and carry-on bags to hide bombs made of ammonium-nitrate fertilizer and diesel fuel.

Those are the same materials used to make the bomb that destroyed the Oklahoma City federal building nine years ago.

ok, so since 9-11, people are apprehensive about using planes, now we can be just as apprehensive about using buses and trains.

So if we are still planning vacations, it looks like the family car is the most "terra-free" mode of transportation (although some parents with 3 or more screaming kids in the back seat would disagree). But gas prices are high, with OPEC cutting production you can expect them to be higher and will probably effect vacation plans --- but wait --- you can use that tax cut you got a couple of years ago to pay for the gas --- oops local property taxes just went up and wiped out that tax cut....

1. Ain't safe yet? Then re-elect!
Bush Polls struggling, former gov officials and employees emerging from many directions singing the same song, Condi looking terminal, Bush looking like a dummie on Cheney's knee...

Damn straight its time for some "color" to raise everyone's spirits and if that pushes folks toward burning gasoline...well, there is quality time for families in those road trips and Arbusto's buds in the industry aren't gonna complain about that.

3. Maybe * should have concentrated on funding homeland security
instead of murdering Iraquis and pissing off the world.
