4 Suspected SARS Cases in Scotland, UK - Breaking
Just caught this breaking news on Sky TV news in the UK.

4 people have been put in isolation in an Edinburgh hospital and are suspected of having SARS. The only details provided were that they are 3 Asian tourists and an ambulanceman.

I really hope that SARS isn't starting up again.

1. My sister's three kids in Edinburgh got sick this week
All three started to vomit the same night. They think it's the flu.

2. I'm sure they'll be OK......
It sounds like even if it is SARS then only people in direct contact with the carriers will have been exposed.

Kids get sick all the time, and if you've got them living in the same house then they'll get sick together.

4. UPDATE: ALL CLEAR.....emerges from under bed.....
"Four people at the centre of a suspected outbreak of the Sars virus in Edinburgh have been released from hospital.

Three Asian tourists and an ambulance crew member were being treated by doctors at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary...

A spokeswoman said: "They have all been given a clean bill of health and released. This was a false alarm but we dealt with it using all necessary precautions." "

5. It is good to know that Scotland is being cautious.
And open in the process, even.
