Bush swoops into Kerry's hometown for $2,000-per-person fund-raiser
BOSTON -- President Bush's campaign fund-raising tour targeted Boston on Thursday, with a $2,000-per-person event at the Park Plaza Hotel.

One name not on the guest list was Democratic rival John Kerry, who lives less than a mile from the hotel.

Despite Kerry's obvious political advantages in his home state, Bush, who has already raised about $170 million for his re-election bid, has a strong base of support from a small but dedicated band of among Massachusetts Republicans.

David "Mugsy" McGinnis, 48, of Westwood, the owner of a ticket agency, describes himself as a conservative Republican, and a big fan of President Bush.

"I'm raising my kids as very conservative Republicans. I agree with everything (Bush) does. He can't make a mistake in my eyes."

As sick and repulsive that is I have seen many others do the same for ex-President Clinton. Speaking as a realist and slightly left Democrat I can honestly say that both koolaide drinkers disgust me.

When they screw up we :kick: them out.

5. really?
I have never heard anyone say anything remotely akin to "I agree with everything (Clinton) does/did." There's a difference between standing up for someone on specific issues and declaring blind faith in every action the person ever takes.

You know those kind of idiots are out there, but until you see it with your own eyes you just kind of forget about it. He probably still thinks Iraq did 9/11. :eyes:

10. He probably doesn't care.
He's not interested in logic. He hates a lot of people and he's figured out that * hates them all too. Soul-mates!

Want to bet his kids grow up to be liberals? Heh-heh.
