(Sen.) Warner faults Obama on selling of stimulus
Source: Richmond Times-Dispatch

Sen. Mark R. Warner is crediting President Barack Obama's stimulus plan with helping mend the economy, but the Virginia Democrat says the White House isn't doing a good job of making the case.

In an interview this afternoon with editors and reporters at the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Warner said that his "list of frustrations" with the Obama administration includes its marketing of the economic jump-start program.

Warner, who backed the plan, said there was "a lot of overpromise and a little too much exuberance about the stimulus." For example, Warner said, the initiative includes the third-largest tax cut in U.S. history, but few voters seem to be aware of it.

Warner, a former governor who was easily elected to the Senate in 2008, also faults fellow Democrat Obama with not doing enough in overhauling the health-care system to control costs.

3. I agree but...
It is obvious America is not use to having a president that simply does not take the time to BRAG BRAG BRAG about what he has done...Americans were use to Bush bragging all the time when in reality there was little to brag about but the nation bought it for years!

Here we have a president who has many reasons to brag from job creation to capturing & killing top Taliban & Al Quaeda members...I think this plays a role in why the nation thinks Obama was late to the oil spill when in reality he was not...He just was not out saying LOOK AT ME & WHAT I AM DOING!

5. Horseshit
Big Media does nothing but broadcast right-wing talking points. That's ther reason the success hasn't been exposed.

Blow up Big Media, democracy will return.
