North Texas Gas Well Explosion
Source: Fox 4 Dallas

The fire broke out at about 3 p.m. at 2101 County Road 1120 in Hood County.

The blaze was so intense that it could be seen from at least 30 miles away. Additionally, Sky 4 helicopter pilot Mike Warner said he could feel the heat from nearly a mile away.

The force of the blast and resulting burn also generated spinning spirals of smoke resembling funnel clouds.

we will probably see spikes in cancer rates in the affected areas. Of course, by then, we will have forgotten about and the media won't bring it up.

13. The only good thing about this...
Edited on Mon Jun-07-10 04:06 PM by awoke_in_2003
is it will probably be put out quick, either with a controlled explosion or using a modified jet engine. Both ways can deprive the fire of oxygen, then the fire goes out. Then you can cap it.

Obama's chess move was to open up offshore drilling, which took away their scapegoat for raising prices.

Are these the counter moves?

Anyone here have any idea how they put something of that magnitude out?

On a side note: Isn't this near where they keep having the earthquakes which some think are due to all the NG drilling in the area?
