Ex-NYC top cop Kerik says he never betrayed trust
Source: AP

NEW YORK — Weeks before he's scheduled to report to prison, former New York City police Commissioner Bernard Kerik says he doesn't feel that he has betrayed the public's trust.

Kerik told WPIX-TV in an interview to be broadcast Thursday and Friday that he believes he was targeted in attempts to hurt Rudy Giuliani and he still considers the former mayor a friend.

Kerik pleaded guilty in November to eight felonies, including tax fraud and lying to the White House while being vetted for the job of Homeland Security chief in 2004. He's scheduled to begin serving a four-year prison term next month.

But Kerik tells WPIX that he never used his office for personal gain.

He says being behind bars will be a disappointment and embarrassing, but he says he'll "deal with it one day at a time."

2. I guess he didn't personally gain from screwing Judith REGAN at the city apartment meant for
relief for the first responders. Besides a whole laundry list of career and financial benefits he gained from just being where he was.

9. I guess Bernie didn't realize how much the IRS and Dummya trusted him.
Anyone else catch Bernie's appearance during the first season of Bravo's Housewives of New Jersey (and willing to admit it)?

Apparently, he's a neighbor and friend of Caroline.

11. First Secretary of Homeland Security, per the recommendation of Ghouliani, who
told Dummya, "Don't even bother to vet him."

"America's mayor" also had a priest on his payroll that the Catholic Church kind of fired without formally defrocking. Guess why.

13. He never betrayed my trust...
The first time I ever saw Bernie Kerik I thought he was a slimy SOB. I couldn't trust the fucker as far as I could throw him, and he's a pudgy little shit so I couldn't throw him but a couple feet.

Betraying trust means there was trust in the first place, which isn't the case here.

Bernie's safety in prison isn't a big problem though; that young man is going to spend the next four years in protective custody. If you were the warden of any prison in America, what would YOU do if you were getting ready to house the disgraced commissioner of the New York Police Department? If it was me I'd be tempted to keep him locked up in the guest room over my garage, because if they put that man, with the resume he has, in general population about thirty people will get together and kill him within the hour and no one (including the guards cheering them on) would see a fucking thing.
