Central Baghdad rocked by blasts

BBC:

A series of loud explosions have been heard in central Baghdad amid reports of a rocket or mortar attack.
Witnesses report sirens sounding in the area close to the headquarters of US-led coalition forces in Iraq.

A US military spokesman said he had no immediate information on casualties or damage from the apparent attack.

US Secretary of State Colin Powell spent several hours in the headquarters compound earlier on Friday before leaving for Saudi Arabia.
