Report: Ohio Sniper Suspect Captured in Las Vegas

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The suspect in a string of two-dozen sniper-style shootings in central Ohio, one of them fatal, was captured in Las Vegas, the Fox News Channel reported on Wednesday.

"We spoke to the Las Vegas Police Department, who confirmed that Charles McCoy Jr., was captured in Las Vegas in a Budget Suites hotel," said Fox assignment editor Sarah Courtney.


McCoy was identified with the help of his father, who turned over a gun used in the shootings, the Columbus Dispatch reported on Tuesday.

Repected athlete in high school but also known as a brutal bully of smaller kids. Family says he was mentally ill and friends interviewed said he was 'popular and nice', though i doubt the kids he liked to wail on felt that way.
