Soldier In Court For Alleged Water Torture Of Daughter
Source: kiro tv

OLYMPIA, Wash. -- A local Iraq war veteran will be arraigned Tuesday for allegedly using a form of a torture technique on his daughter.

Authorities said Army Sgt. Joshua Tabor allegedly waterboarded his 4-year-old daughter for not saying her ABCs.

Tabor returned from a 15-month deployment to Iraq last year and had been living with his girlfriend and daughter at a home in Yelm.

...

During the investigation, the 4-year-old told detectives her father would fill the kitchen sink with hot water and dunk her head if she didn't obey him.

...

Prosecutors said the 27-year-old Tabor admitted holding his daughter in the sink because she was afraid of water and he wanted her to say the alphabet but denied putting the girl's face in the water.

...

Tabor is currently out of custody, but cannot leave Joint Base Lewis-McChord, where he's based.

2. That article
doesn't say where the child is. With the mother? Protective services? Just want to make sure she's away from this fucking animal.

3. Ever notice that most news agencies have no trouble
properly identifying waterboarding (in any of its forms) as torture - like in the article above...unless it involves the crimes of the U.S. government....then it's all about the ambiguous....is it or isn't it - torture..."harsh, enhanced, severe" - interrogation..."that some consider & that critics have claimed" is torture...as if there's a question...as if it's debatable.

I hope that child gets help.

I hope that soldier gets help while in prison.

I wish my country wasn't sick.

5. Maybe they have four-man cells in Leavenworth...
where the Kiddie Waterboarder, Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld can sit around for the rest of their lives swapping waterboarding tales.
