Kerry expects to add to delegate total in Florida
MIAMI - John Kerry, the presumptive Democratic nominee, was looking to pad his delegate total Tuesday when Florida voters assembled for a presidential preference primary that could help him in the months ahead.

Kerry stumped in Hollywood, Delray Beach, West Palm Beach and Tampa on Monday, meeting with voters to drum up support in a key battleground state. The scene of the 2000 recount, Florida expects to be another closely contested state next fall.

"I'm asking you to help me send George Bush back to Texas," Kerry said to cheers during a stop at a Hollywood community center.
