The Prime Minister doesn't have to send Canadians to the polls until November 2005. But he must kick-off a by-election campaign in Ottawa Centre by Sunday.

Liberal candidate Richard Mahoney says Paul Martin has a few options to look at.

Mahoney says the P-M must weight out the options of when a Federal election might be called so there are not two elections in Ottawa Centre in one year.

NDP candidate Ed Broadbent says downtown residents need representation on Parliament Hill as soon as possible.

Mahoney says all residents continue to discuss the sponsorship scandal.

The Ottawa Centre seat has been vacant since Liberal Mac Harb was appointed to the Senate by Jean Chretien.
