Kerry Town Meeting in Orlando

I just shook the hand of the next president of the US!

Kerry, right off Super Tuesday headed where else? To Disney World!
(Acutally, downtown Orlando...but it doesn't have the same marketing charm.)

With Sens. Graham and Nelson at his side he accepted the endorsement of a national police union, then went on to answer questions from residents in the theater. Very cool.

Afterward, he stepped away from getting into the car and walked over and talked and shook hands with the crowds outside.

1. Way to get the endorsement from the Police Union!!

Would you happen to know which union endorsed him? Also, were there a lot of men/women in uniform or just the union heads giving the endorsement? This is nice to pick up the support of the police unions heading into the election while having the fire fighters union support through the primaries.

Kerry outlined his platform for homeland security, which includes more money for "first-responders" who handle domestic crises, enhancing port security, protection of airline travelers and closer oversight of chemical manufacturing plants. Kerry, drawing an endorsement today from the International Union of Police Officers, also proposes more federal spending for police.
