Kucinich Wins Primary - for Congress
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Rep. Dennis Kucinich finally won a primary Tuesday, but not in the presidential race.

The Democrat easily won the primary for his northeast Ohio congressional district, getting 36,691 votes, or 85 percent, with 52 percent of precincts reporting. Challenger George Pulling had 6,252 votes, or 15 percent.

In the Republican primary, Edward Fitzpatrick Herman, a real estate agent and former Army intelligence officer, was leading three other challengers.

1. damn
I was really hoping he would pull something out :(. Well, maybe he will be back another year and do better. I know its not literally over yet but I hate to sound jerky but he has a slim to none chance of pulling it out.

9. hes the best in the race
Just a shame. Its truly ironic to see all the more "electable" candiates preceed him. Reminds me of this Emerson quote I learned, "this time like all times can be a good one if we but know what to do with it." Just a shame that he wont win one lousy primary. I still have his autograph and I treasure it.

2. I voted for him out west here. It is good news though that he can
remain in congress. He's a great man and has a lot of moxy. He can and will be useful in Congress if not the WH.

Many Blessings Dennis,

What we need is Howard Dean supporting Congressional candidates in key districts so that Kucinich can be the next Speaker of the House.

5. Kucinich
In my view he was the best Democrat in this group. I sure wish the Dems had a whole lot more people that appreciate his ideas. I am in the Green Party and would love to have Kucinich as President.

11. Good. We need his voice and his ideas,
at least some of them. I think his run for the presidency will amplify his words in the future.
